Isvinder System
(Ice Vanquisher)
The isvinder system is an all in one de-icer, dock-sweep and aerator, with a time tested design from 1967
In the early 1960's a retired US Navy engineer/marina owner expressed concern about the up-and-coming winter and the possibility of ice damage to the marina slips and his customers’ vessels. Armed with the knowledge that water, even at 32° if brought to the surface at a sufficient volume could prevent ice formation, and with that knowledge the original Isvinder was made.

De-Icer and Aerator
as a de-icer The Isvinder draws warmer water from the depths using a uniquely designed non-fouling propeller. When operated at depth the propeller draws warm water up from below and prevents ice formation.
The effective area to prevent and melt ice is equal to approximately 8' of open water for every foot of propeller depth, with a maximum depth of 8 feet (if appropriate depth and warm water is available). Isvinder comes with a 2 year warranty

​​As an aerator, the Isvinder is mounted by placing a tube through the disperser and simply setting it in one of our floats (sold seperately), in this configuration it works similarly to how it does as a de-icer; only this time oxygenating the water to promote healthy fish growth and preventing the formation of poisonous algae on the water’s surface, keeping a balance in the lake or ponds ecosystem, also a must have in aquaculture fish farms. The isvinder can be used in salt water and prevents water stratification, along with deadly turnover.
Dock Sweep
As a dock sweep, the Isvinder is mounted horizontally below the surface of the water. By doing this you can pull pond scum and trash out from under docks, or clear inlets and shores making it easier to clean up while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
